Message from the President, Jackie Nelson

Hello Everyone,

Happy Summer to you! Have you taken some time out to enjoy a walk on the beach, have you made it downtown to Waterfire, had your first Del’s lemonade of the season? What are you trying this season that’s different from this time last year? Have you implemented some new tools learned? Are you trying some new products offered by your lab? If you answered no to any of these questions I ask you, “What are you waiting for, Christmas!?” By the way Christmas is only 21 weeks away!

At our latest program held at Printmakers I learned of two new products/services being offered there that you should take a look at. Ask Marc or Tony to show you some samples that they can produce with their new laser machine. It’s awesome!!
Also they are now able to offer digital delivery of your images directly to your clients phone, huge time saver! If you haven’t seen all of what’s new at Printmakers stop in. Tony, Marc, and Manny are always ready to help you!

I am hoping to see more of you at our programming coming up. I know summer is a busy time of year for all of us, and that’s a good thing. But take advantage of all the fantastic programs we have lined up for you!

August, Wed. August 15th “Lighting for Headshots” At Hunts in Providence.
September, Wed. Sept 19th “Keeping It Simple” with Gene Hutnak at his new studio.
October, Wed. Oct 17th “I don’t Do Weddings” with Phil Frink at Vee’s Photography.
November, Wed. Nov 14th “How to Flatter with light and poses for Maternity Portraits” with Bailey Fox.
December, our holiday party. The date still pending, stay tuned!

See you guys soon! Stay Cool!
