Message from the President, Jackie Nelson
Hello everyone, Happy Holidays!
As I sit and reflect on this past year I say wow, so much has happened. Since March your team of board members has worked very hard planning our educational seminars, and our Annual Convention in March. We have changed our social media pages, added some, extended and built others. We have essentially rebuilt our website with current up to date material. We have discussed new ways to grow our membership base, and how to appeal to a new audience of photographers.
I value each of you as members, we value you as associates, we value your presents and consider each of you a part of our photographic family. I want to take this opportunity to thank each of you for valuing our association and for being with us. We are currently still working on the details Convention 2019, and our monthly educational programs for 2019. If you have something in particular you would like us to try to bring to the association for a monthly program speak to one of the board members, we are happy to hear your feedback. Keep a close eye on your email, and our social media pages where you can always find what’s coming up next!
We are working to breathe some new life into convention this year. The changes are ongoing and we will announce more detail in the new year. I hope you all plan to enter some images into our annual image competition.
Please be sure to SAVE THE DATES for our Annual Convention.
March 1, 2, & 3 2019 – Our 66th
As we wrap up this year lets reflect on what we did well this year, and grab the reins for what we would like to see change for next year. I wish you all a very Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays & a blessed and prosperous New Year!
Jackie
